Shane Esson

Serving on the Board of Directors for the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation is a perfect fit for me after a lengthy career in transportation. I want to make a contribution to improving health care services in Southeastern New Brunswick after retiring from transportation and serving as a long-time volunteer in economic development and sports.

I am a former vice-president and general manager with Midland Transport Ltd. I combined a busy work life with service on boards of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, the 3+ Economic Development Corporation, Romeo LeBlanc Greater Moncton International Airport Authority as well as with the Moncton Football Association.

My wife Claire and I live in Moncton and are parents to two adult children. Since my wife worked for many years at The Moncton Hospital, we know all too well how important it is for the health care team to be properly equipped to care for patients.
