Tina Smith

I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve, learn, and grow with the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation. Since relocating to the Greater Moncton Region just over 20 years ago, I developed my connection to this community by serving on not-for-profit and community-based boards. This new opportunity will allow me to volunteer alongside others who share my interest in building and maintaining a community of care.

Since living in New Brunswick, I have acquired a newfound respect for seeking opportunities to give back, be involved, and especially to create a sense of place—of home, all values shared by the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation.

After completing graduate studies at UNB in Fredericton, Queen’s University, and Dalhousie University, I have spent the last 25 years working in Human Resources Management with various provincial government departments, multinationals, and private companies while also teaching at UNB’s College of Extended Learning.
